The Pre-licensing Course may be completed in the classroom or via online learning or virtual classroom. If you opt to enroll in the classroom version you will receive an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. Whatever version you choose to take all courses follow the same curriculum. When you have successfully completed your course, the instructor will report your completion to the DMV automatically and you won't require the certificate at the time of taking your driver's exam.
